Consortium of Miller Homes, Stretton Estates & Grantley DevelopmentsMPSL were appointed by a consortium consisting of Miller Homes, Grantley Developments & Stretton Estates & Project Managed by DDC. Our task was to Masterplan & Develop designs for the overall development which was split into phases & covered by a blanket Outline Planning Permission which included a council led Design Brief.

The Proposal
The application consisted of 4No Reserved Matters Planning Applications, each Phase included character areas, focal buildings, landscaping, SUDS solutions amongst other key design characteristics. Within the Phases parcels were identified for other clients including Redrow Homes & Wakefield Housing. In total more than 850 No units have been planned.
The Challenges
The sheer size of this site, ensured there was always a challenge. Tight timescales were also a factor whilst servicing the needs of the consortium & the Local Authority.
The Outcome
Two of the Four phases now have Planning Consent with the other two ongoing. MPSL have worked hard with our clients to ensure a high quality design with a strong focus on building design, strong form, green space & high quality landscaping.
