Luca's Journey to Architecture: A New Apprentice at MPSL

Luca, a fresh face to the MPSL team, has embarked on an exciting journey as an apprentice architecture technician. Joining us straight from school, Luca is eager to apply his skills and knowledge to real-world projects, working alongside our pre and post planning teams.

To further enhance his professional development, Luca will be attending Salford City College one day a week. This combination of on-the-job training and formal education will provide him with a solid foundation in architectural principles and practices.

We asked Luca a few questions about his new role

What inspired you to pursue a career in architecture? – “I’ve always been fascinated by the built environment and the creativity involved in designing structures. From a young age, I enjoyed drawing and imagining different spaces. Architecture seemed like the perfect way to combine my artistic interests with my passion for problem-solving.”

What are you most looking forward to about your apprenticeship at Salford City College? – “I’m excited to gain practical experience and learn from the experienced professionals at Salford. I hope to use this knowledge to contribute to projects and develop my skills as an architectural technician.”

What do you hope to achieve during your apprenticeship? – “My goal is to build a strong foundation in architectural principles and practices. I also want to develop my technical skills and learn about the different stages of the planning process.”

As Luca continues his apprenticeship, we are confident that his enthusiasm, dedication, and talent will make him a valuable asset to the MPSL team. We look forward to supporting him on his journey towards becoming a skilled and accomplished architect.
