MPSL Projects
Three Lancet Homes Projects Given 'Green Light'

MPSL has been working hard behind the scenes with an array of consultants on three different Lancet Homes developments, all of which were recently given the ‘green light’ by Oldham Council for work to begin.

For any developer, securing planning permission can be an arduous task, one that can take months, even years to achieve.

MPSL however with our extensive experience in this space were able to provide a full suite of Architectural Drawings for Planning Applications, including site layouts, building planning drawings, street scenes & design statements to simplify the process and increase likelihood of an application being accepted.

In these particular cases, those assets supporting the Planning Applications have proven invaluable and allowed Lancet Homes to move forward into the next stages of each development.

High Barn House Development

MPSL worked on planning application to construct 30 homes on the former site of the High Barn Resource Centre, which was demolished in 2018.

The brownfield land is set to be restored in an efficient manner and is designed to enhance the surrounding area. Properties are being developed by Lancet Homes and managed by First Choice Homes Oldham.

High Barn House will deliver a mix of bespoke, high-quality one and two-bedroom apartments, positioned within a highly sustainable location, and will make a valuable contribution to local housing supply.

Radcliffe Street Development

The vacant site located on Radcliffe Street in Royton town centre, previously formed part of the Royton Heath Centre, which was bulldozed in late 2013, with the intention of redeveloping the brownfield site.

This development will consist of eight two-bedroom homes and six three-bedroom homes laid out in three blocks and set behind small landscape gardens to the front with private gardens to the rear.

MPSL worked alongside Lancet Homes to carefully ensure the development would fit in well with its surroundings and make valuable contribution to the local housing supply on unused brownfield land.

Hardman Street Development

Lancet Homes have also received approval for another site at the junction of Oldham Road and Hardman Street in Failsworth.

With a full application for this development boasting 14 bespoke new homes in a range of 2 – 3 bedrooms on formerly brownfield land, we couldn’t be happier to see Lancet Homes progress with this development .

Work will soon commence on the creation of a brand new, well-balanced, residential community.
