Great progress being made at the Vaughan Street, Royton

Progress Update - September

Last week, the team returned to Vaughan Street, Royton for a progress meeting with Casey.

It was also a special day as our apprentice architectural technician Luca attended his first site visit. He had the opportunity to explore the different stages of construction and see first hand how these beautiful homes are coming together.

The site is making great progress and we a grateful to be part of this fantastic scheme.

Keep an eye out for more updates…..

Progress Update - May

The 2.9 acres site previously accommodated Our Lady’s R.C High School prior to its demolition and clearance, now makes way for the development of 46 new 2, 3 and 4-bedroom timber frames homes.

The Site itself is bound to the north, by St Aidan & Oswald RC Primary School buildings and associated facilities, including a playing field. To the east by, a car park and residential dwellings fronting Oldham Road. To the south / south-east by, Shaw Road End Park, which comprises a grassed area, children’s play area and a Multi Use Games Area.

The residential mix has been carefully thought through with the client, Great Places, ensuring that a sustainable, and well-balanced neighbourhood is created, which offers a mix of smaller starter homes, and larger family homes, and will further widen the variety of homes being offered to the shared ownership market.

As the team were visiting the site, it was great to see  the retaining walls are complete, and piling is well underway.

With some fantastic weather to go with it, we look forward to seeing these homes take shape over the coming months.
