Our team can provide initial concept planning, detailed designs, technical working drawings, as well as work alongside other professionals on residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Residential
Residential projects are a speciality of ours. From the outset to the end, MPSL will provide your development with Architectural Services of the highest level. We are skilled in master planning large sites for Outline Planning Permissions or Development Statements and undertaking sketch schemes for financial appraisals; then carrying them forward for full or reserved matters planning consent. Whether a unique mansion, complete housing ranges or high-rise apartments, we provide full working drawings with Autocad & Revit software.
Commerical
We have design experiences across a multitude of industries, including food, retail, office space and leisure. Flexibility and space planning are key with commercial projects as schemes are often intended for mixed uses. To maximise potential, we will complete sketch appraisals for all of the development’s intended uses, then undertake contextual appraisals and prepare detailed planning drawings and site layouts for submission. Working drawings can be provided for both tendering and construction purposes, utilising Autocad and Revit software.
Industrial
MPSL will design to suit a variety of uses. From smaller scale workshops, including mezzanine office spaces, to large-scale warehouse and distribution buildings, we can do it all. Also, we Masterplan industrial and commercial spaces within larger mixed use developments, ensuring to identify capacities early on. Our designs are based on steel frame grid systems, providing cost effective building processes, plus our technical team produce working drawings for both construction and tendering purposes through Autocad and Revit software.

Public Consultations
MPSL will create & present displays for public consultations, we will also attend too.
Urban Design
Our designs define areas, the process that we take will coordinate landscaping, architecture & civil engineering.
Building Regulations
MPSL will submit & negotiate Building Regulation Applications through to approval on behalf of our clients.
Site Supervision
As required MPSL can provide on site support for clients, including attendance at regular site meetings, advice during the building process & supervision of specific detailing.
Landscape Concepts
As part of our urban design process we will create landscape concept designs which can then be further enhanced by specialist consultants.
Sketch Schemes
MPSL will maximise your land opportunities with creative layout designs that conform with Local Authority requirements.
Master Planning
MPSL can masterplan strategic land opportunities or expand detailed proposals to include wider areas for use in Outline Planning Applications & Development Statements.
Concept Schemes
We can quickly create concept layouts, showing built form & street structure, allowing consultations & initial costings to be carried out or to be used in Development Statements.
Building Design
We can create bespoke building designs, anything from commercial landmarks, one off houses or full house type portfolios amongst others.
Planning Applications
MPSL will provide a full suite of Architectural Drawings for Planning Applications, including site layouts, building planning drawings, streetscenes & design statements utilising InDesign publishing software.
Negotiations
MPSL will on your behalf coordinate & front negotiations through the determination of Planning Applications, this will include liaison with other consultants including if required appointments.
Technical Drawings
Our working drawings are created using Autocad or as 3D packages utilsing Revit & can be laid out/presented to meet our clients specific requirements & specifications. Our drawings conform with the latest Building Regulations.
Who we are
Founding member of MPSL, David has spent many years in the private housing sector. With significant design and management experience gained working for large corporations such as AMEC and Westbury Homes, David is renowned throughout the industry for his solutions-based approach and an unerring ability to understand the planning mindset.
Darren has a formidable reputation for his in-depth understanding of construction methods and material compatibility to achieve both aesthetic and commercial design solutions. He has 15 years experience with major house builders providing house type portfolios and concept housing solutions.
Adam started while the company as still in its infancy and has played an important role in it’s growth. Adams strengths include his attention to detail and Project Management. Adam leads his team through every stage of the planning process ensuring viable and efficient schemes are secured for our clients
Soulla specialise in all planning related requirements, including layouts, house type portfolios, supporting statement writing, and the ultimate delivery of application packs. Soulla takes great pride in representing a direct point of contact for the client, whilst utilising a wealth of experience to negotiate with Local Authority and deliver successful planning applications.
Phil has over 20 year’s experience in the Greater Manchester area, predominately within the housing sector. Phil has vast technical experience on projects ranging from refurbishment, new build houses and apartments using a wide range of construction techniques and material
Adrian joined MPSL, moving back into private practice after dealing with all matters architectural for almost 30 years for volume and niche housebuilders. Over that time he has acquired a keen commercial awareness and is always mindful of engineering and buildability issues.
Danielle joined MPSL in March 2021, specialising primarily in the residential sector, she has developed strong technical drawing skills and extensive knowledge of building regulations. Danielle is passionate about producing design-led, detail-driven drawings that bring architectural concepts to life.
Brian joined MPSL in 2023, bringing more than 37 years of industry experience to our team. His extensive knowledge and proven expertise add exceptional depth and value to our operations, strengthening our commitment to excellence.
With a strong background in architectural design and a keen eye for detail, Matthew brings both expertise and enthusiasm to our team. His thoughtful approach and commitment to quality make him a valued member of MPSL.
As a designer, Conor assists the pre planning team with projects from concept to construction, ensuring every detail is accurately planned. Proficient in Photoshop and CAD, Conor bring ideas to life with precision and creativity.
James joined the MPSL team after completing his Architectural Technology degree at Liverpool John Moores University. With a passion for technical design, he continues to expand his skills and gain valuable industry experience within an established and supportive environment.
Angela joined MPSL back in 2018 as an assistant architect after graduating Frederick University in Cyprus. Since then she has brought her unique vision and outstanding skill-set to the team. Angela is also a chartered member of RIBA and registered with ARB.
Ben leads business development and client engagement at MPSL, building industry relationships and driving new opportunities for growth. Ben also oversees media, communications, and branding, ensuring MPSL’s work and values are represented consistently across all platforms.
Joining MPSL in 2024, Jasmine plays a key role in keeping our office running efficiently. She handles invoicing, payments, client queries, business documentation, and general admin support — always with a positive, helpful approach and a focus on great service.
Luca joined MPSL in September 2024 as an aspiring architect and is currently completing his Level 3 HNC in Civil Engineering. He applies his developing technical skills in a professional environment while working towards a future in architectural design.
